The dates of the next Wivenhoe Art Trail are Friday 13 - Sunday 15 November 2026.
The deadline to apply and pay to join the trail is Wednesday 9 September 2026. The form will close after this and it won't be possible to accept late applications.
The Wivenhoe Art Trail is open to established and emerging artists with no vetting procedure.
In order to take part, we simply ask that all exhibitors:
live, or have a studio, in Wivenhoe
help to publicise the event by distributing maps and posters to your suggested venues (venues may be reallocated if they are duplicated)
agree to be open for the full dates of the Wivenhoe Art Trail, and arrange cover if you are not available every day
agree not to invite other artists, who have not paid the £75 fee or who do not live in Wivenhoe, to exhibit at your venue
The Wivenhoe Art Trail cannot offer assistance in finding spaces to exhibit, but we do encourage venue sharing where possible in order to keep the trail at a manageable size for our visitors.
Signage
Each venue will receive a large numbered board to display outside their venue for the duration of the event. The board must be returned afterwards in good condition or artists will have to pay for a replacement.
Insurance
We recommend that you take out a subscription for Artists Newsletter a-n.co.uk where the artist automatically receives an insurance policy. We do not accept any liability for any injuries or losses at any venues throughout the Art Trail.
Payment.
To take part, please make a payment of £75 per artist and then fill in the application form below. The payment must be made at the time of applying.
